Today, KAZE have released a live, acoustic version of the love ballad ‘Keep Me Loving You”. A very personal song, it talks about the joys of falling in love but the uncertainty of sustaining your love for someone.
After a quiet period of change and writing, KAZE have recently had an image change, making Amy the ‘face of’ and have got more releases planned for the rest of 2019.

Manchester’s WAM Festival, curated by DJ and journalist, Dave Haslam, have announced that KAZE will be supporting Liines alongside poet, Emily Oldfield at the opening night on 18 October. The 4-day event of Words and Music will take place at Night and Day Cafe betwenn 18 - 21 October. The performance will also mark the release of their new single, ‘Conversation’. Buy tickets here.

KAZE opened the mainstage at Feel Good Festival yesterday supporting headliners Cast and Feeder. It was their biggest stage to date and some local photographers got some brilliant photos of their performance. A nice story to come out of it was that a couple who saw KAZE earlier that year at the Rochdale Food Festival had followed KAZE and showed their music to their 7 year old son, Nathan. The whole family came to watch them at Feel Good Fest and Nathan, who singing along to the lyrics of the songs, got a photo with Amy after their set.

Ahead of their performance at Feel Good Festival tomorrow, KAZE were invited onto BBC Radio Manchester’s Mike Sweeney show. In the programme, broadcast live from the BBC Bus in Rochdale centre, KAZE chatted to Mike about how they formed and then went on to perform ‘Unfamiliar Room’.

KAZE played their first ever music festival this weekend at Cornbury Festival in Oxfordshire. They played on the Riverside Stage on Friday the 13th (with no unlucky musical mistakes!) Weapon Official Video released
The Official Video for Weapon is now available to view on Youtube and Facebook. Set in the mundane backdrop of suburban Glasgow, Amy is setting about daily chores and stresses while dancing with various household weapons. The message remains - however angry we get, weapons shouldn't be the answer. Though the video focuses on everyday annoyances, the songs wider message is to those high up in power! On Facebook, the video has had over 2.7k views.

Up in Scotland, on a cold and rainy day, KAZE braved the weather to film their new music video. Armed with their resident videographer/photographer/graphic designer/all round boff – Bovine – haunting and beautiful scenes were created. KAZE are back in their natural habitat in the recording studio for the next week. They are recording 4 new tunes for release in 2018 at the brilliant Blueprint Studios in Manchester. They are lucky enough to be working with Rodrigo Constanzo as their producer and Tim Thomas as their engineer. The band include Thomas Fripp on guitar, Alexander Tod on drums and Jamie Brewster on bass.

KAZE are excited to announce that after playing at Band On The Wall on 6 April, they are through to the FINALS of the Manchester Arndale Band Competition. The competition was judged by Clint Boon (The Inspiral Carpets) and Jo Good from Radio X. The final is in the Arndale Centre, Manchester on 27 April and the audience vote on the winning band. If KAZE win they will get 4 free days of recording at Blueprint Studios and a slot to perform at Kendal Calling/BlueDot Festival.

KAZE will be paying at one of Manchester’s most prestigious venues, Band On The Wall on 06 April as part of the Manchester Arndale Band Competition Semi-finals. Finalists will have their music heard by an established industry panel of judges; Gavin Sharp, CEO of Band on the Wall, Tim Thomas, Director at Blueprint Studios, Clint Boon, The Inspiral Carpets, and Jo Good from Radio X.
If they are successful, they will go through to the final on 27 April and the winning prize is 4 days of recording at Blueprint Studios and a slot to perform at Kendall Calling.

Our first gig which celebrated the launch of our EP, No Filter, was a sell out. It was at The Castle Hotel, Manchester and we had reached capacity before the second support band had started.
